Turn Manokwari 6.1 earthquake rocked the Richter Scale

Bengkulu (ANTARA News) - A tectonic earthquake magnitude 6.1 Richter scale shook the Manokwari, West Papua, Sunday at 10.36 pm.

Information from Climatology and Meteorology Geiofisika (BMKG) mentions, an earthquake measuring 6.1 on the SR is located 0.47 south latitude (LS) and 133.03 east longitude (BT).

The epicenter is not potentially cause a tsunami is at the Sea 123 km west of Manokwari, West Papua, with a depth of 56 km.

Not to be confirmed as to whether there was loss of life or injury or property are also victims of the earthquake shocks.

Located 24 minutes later, an earthquake measuring 5.3 rocked the SR also Gorontalo on Sunday at 11.00. 1.44 earthquake locations in North Latitude (N) and 122.69 east longitude (BT).

Epicenter 108 km North-West 212 km Gorontalo or Tolitoli Northeast, Southeast Sulawesi with a depth of 25 km and not borpotensi tsunami.

An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter Scale (SR) also rocked Saumlaki in West Southeast Maluku District on Saturday at 11:53:54 pm.

SR 5.0-magnitude quake was located at 7:05 of South Latitude (LS) and 129.53 east longitude (BT).

The earthquake was located 223 Km North-West Northeast Saumlaki with depth 147 km and no tsunami potential.

On the previous day, Friday (2 / 10) earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter Scale (SR) also rocked the city and surrounding Saumlaki in West Southeast Maluku District (MTB), at 11:11:23 pm.

Epicenter located at 6.23 south latitude - longitude 130.94 or 197 kilometers (km) northwest of Saumlaki at a depth of 80 km.
